Our monthly community coffee morning, an opportunity to catch up with friends and neighbours, where there is always a warm welcome.  

This month we’ll be supporting Moray Fresh Start.

When someone has experienced homelessness, moving into a new tenancy can be both stressful and overwhelming. Starting again often means beginning with very little, and the cost of setting up a home from scratch can be impossible to manage.

Moray Fresh Start helps people make that transition into a settled home by providing Starter Packs containing essential household items.

For many, buying even the basics simply isn’t affordable. These Starter Packs provide practical support at a crucial time, helping people feel safe, settled and able to sustain their tenancy with dignity and confidence.

Over the past three years, Moray Fresh Start has supported more than 870 people across Moray as they moved into new homes, including over 300 children. Coming from all walks of life and every age group, from young mothers with newborn babies to people aged over 75, behind every Starter Pack is someone being given the chance to make a fresh start.

This is an opportunity to get together once a month with other like minded crafters, bring along whatever current craft project you are working on and enjoy a chat and a cuppa.
